CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Management
- Conducts audits and reviews LifeLinc Anesthesia facilities to evaluate the need for process improvements.
- Performs ongoing evaluation of existing sites for implementation of Pre Anesthesia Evaluation (PAE) process and continued efforts to streamline and standardize processes to adhere to corporate mission and values.
- Trains staff on critical aspects of quality, compliance, and patient experience.
- Enhances processes to ensure waste reduction, improve patient experience and outcomes, and increase revenue for the facility.
- Monitors quality metrics as required by agreements and for process improvement strategy development.
- Responsible for on-site training initiatives related to LifeLinc procedures, documentation and other necessary items.
- Works directly with facility administrations to deliver reporting and receive, evaluate and respond to any concerns.
- Serves as a collaborative partner to LifeLinc Clinical Leaders.
New Clinical Site Integration
- Plans, documents, and implements administrative and clinical processes for all new LifeLinc Anesthesia sites.
- Works with administrative leadership of new facilities to foster professional collaboration within the anesthesia department, surgical suites, and corporate office.
- Acts as a liaison between onsite clinicians, administrative leaders, and LifeLinc’s Corporate and Clinical Leadership.
- Provides initial and ongoing training to onsite Anesthesia leadership related to their Chief CRNA and/or Medical Director duties.
- Works with administrative leadership to evaluate data elements from new sites to drive performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with LifeLinc’s Chief Medical Officer and onsite Clinical Leadership to educate and implement the PAE process at new sites, ensuring a streamlined effort to reduce waste and increase efficiency and profitability for the facility.
- Develops, conducts, monitors, and audits medical services, documentation, processes, and customer service to ensure compliance with LifeLinc procedures.
- Evaluates and revises documentation and processes as needed to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal programs such as The Joint Commission and MIPS.
- Develops an integration process for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement with ongoing evaluation of clinical systems with quality metrics.
- Develops into a super-user to master the use of electronic health records and electronic practice management system to maximize efficiency and ensure continued quality improvements of the system.
- Provides initial and ongoing training related to LifeLinc’s clinical documentation systems as needed.
- Maintains awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards.
Serves on LifeLinc Committees as assigned

HIPAA
- Ensures and adheres to strict confidentiality when handling patient information, according to the HIPAA Privacy Act and hospital policy and procedure regarding privacy

- Understands and adheres to all compliance regulations, policies, and procedures
- Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training
- Provides support and training related to HIPAA as necessary
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters while
performing the essential functions of this job.
- Work is conducted in an office environment and LifeLinc facilities/clinical sites, including hospitals and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
- Travel to new and existing clinical sites, including out-of-state sites, is estimated to be 40%.
